~Training Facility Meeting~
District Council President and Second General Vice President George Kratzer and Dave Kolbe, Political & Legislative Director, visited Local 22’s training facility meeting with manufacturers, contractors and Congressman Andre Carson (IN-07). ~RETIREES~
Reflecting the difficult work environment and unemployment among active Ironworkers, the Trustees have determined that the rule allowing Retirees to work for a bargaining unit employer in covered employment up to 600 hours per calendar year without suspension of benefits will be terminated effective January 1, 2010 until further notice.
